Many people underestimate the effect high-quality lotions, oils, and inks have on the many treatments we offer here at our Spa and Beauty Bar. We guarantee our products will help you feel the best you ever have about yourself. We use 100% vegan facial products, as well as certified vegan pigment for our Microblading and Permanent Make-Up. And with our diverse eyelash extension inventory, you can bet your eyelash extensions can be customized to be just as individual as you are.

Policies

We value your time, and ask that you value ours. Please provide a 24 hour cancellation notice. There will be a $50.00 fee for less than 24 hour notice, and for no-show appointments. For all permanent make-up procedures, and microblading you must be at least 18 years of age.

Microblading preparation

Is there anything I need to do to prepare for my Microblading procedure?

Come with clean make-up free skin
Do not drink coffee, alcohol, or have caffeine 24 hours prior to your Microblading procedure
Do not take Asprin,Niacin,Vitamin E, or Ibuprofen 24 hours prior to your procedure
Do not tan or have intense sun exposure 3 days prior
No waxing 2-3 days prior to your procedure
No chemical peels, dermabrasion, laser or any other intense treatments 2 weeks prior to your Microblading

Is Microblading painful?

Microblading can be a little uncomfortable for those who are more sensitive. However, I apply a anesthetic to your skin prior to your procedure to keep any pain very minimal to none at all.

How long will my Microblading appointment be?

You can expect to hang out with me for about 2 hours

Is Microblading safe for everyone?

There are pre-existing conditions that interfere with Microblading such as

Pregnancy
Breastfeeding ( procedure is possible, but without anesthetic)
Have a tendency to get Keloids
Diabetic
Serious conditions such as cancer, epilepsy,autoimmune disorders ( a doctors note is required)
Currently on Accutane or other strong Retinoids
Recently had Botox or Disport treatment ( must wait 2 months)
Broken capillaries in the eyebrow area
If you have a sunburn, recently waxed the brow area,or chemical peel ( we must wait)
If you have a bleeding disorder, or taking blood thinning medication.
If you have any skin disease irritation or symptoms on the area ( a doctor‘s note is required and we must wait until the irritation has resolved.

What to expect on the exciting day of your Microblading

Lots of communication
Before we start Microblading, we start with a consent form, we talk about what you can expect from our time together, what your eyebrow goals are, we put on anesthetic cream, and then we pick out the perfect color we will be using
Next, I will map and then draw the eyebrow shape. Here we will achieve perfect symmetry to complement your unique face shape and size
It’s important to remember that you are always the boss! I don’t move forward with any step until you feel comfortable with it and approve it
Once we work together to achieve the perfect shape, size and color we start Microblading!
We then will go over after care instructions, what to expect with healing, you will get your provided aftercare ointment and instruction sheet and then we book a 4-6 week touch up appointment.
And you leave in complete shock and awe of how incredible you look with your fresh new brows!

Before your Lash Extension appointment

Remove your eye make-up before you arrive for your eyelash extension appointment
Be prepared for a 2 hour appointment for a set of new lash extensions (but most take 1.5 hours)
Eyelash Extension Application goes more smoothly if you are calm, relaxed, and still.

What to do for the first 24 hours

Before your Lash Extension appointment

Do not allow water or steam to come into contact with your new lash extensions for the first 24 hours.
Lash adhesive takes 24 hours to set

General Aftercare

DO NOT use oil based products. This includes facial cleansers, eye creams, mascara, face creams, sunblock, or eyeliner ( I can help you check the ingredent list on the products you already use.
Do not rub or pull on your lashes when washing your face ( I will show you how and what products to use to wash your lashes.
We all have natural skin oils and when you touch your lash extensions with your fingertips or pull on them, it will shorten the life of your lash extensions.

Some common reasons your lash extensions are falling off earlier than expected

General Aftercare

Your natural lashes have about a 100 day life span. When one falls out it is replaced with a new eyelash. So that is why it is necessary to have a eyelash extension fill. This is the natural life cycle of your lashes. A eyelash extension fill is recommended 2-3 weeks from your initial appointment, so they will constantly look good for you.

Some common reasons your lash extensions are falling off earlier than expected

Your natural lashes are shedding. ( we all have a shedding season)
Improper care within the first 24 hours.
Excessive pulling or rubbing
Use of oil based products around the eye area
